At the annual Feast of St John on 27 December 2005, held at Grand Lodge, many new District Deputy Grand Masters were appointed. The term is for two years, and RW Philip A Drouin of the Eighth Masonic District retired on that date, after a distinguished period of service. A Mason who is known to all Rural Lodge Masons succeeded to the office.

RW David S Elsner is the new DDGM. We all wish him success in his new role!
