Brother Bob Flynn

Bro Bob died of a heart attack on Sunday 12 November 2005. He was 59 years old.
Rural Lodge officers performed a Masonic funeral at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home in Quincy on the evening of Thursday 17 November.

Robert T "Bob’ Flynn, of Quincy, was President and CEO of Pulsifer Kingston Co, a Quincy company specializing in carpet sales and installation. He died suddenly on Sunday at Quincy Medical Center
Bob was born in Roxbury, the youngest child of the late David A and Charlotte E (Ward) Flynn, joining a brother Kenneth D Flynn of St. Louis and the late Sr. Mary Flynn, SND. He was raised in Dorchester and Rockland, graduating from Rockland High School in 1964.
Bob began his career in the carpet industry right out of school when he joined the Pulsifer Kingston Co. In 1990 he succeeded the previous owners and bought the firm. He served as the company’s President and CEO ever since.

Bob loved life. He had many hobbies including boating and fishing. He was also an avid model airplane flyer. Bob was an active Mason and a member of the Rural Lodge AF & AM in Quincy and the Valley of Boston Scottish Rite.

Bob and his wife Stephanie kept homes in the Houghs Neck Section of Quincy and in St. Petersburg FL.
Bob was the father of Lisa M Flynn of Reston, VA and Christopher D Flynn and his wife Andrea of Bridgewater, the loving grandpa to Adam, Cameron and Eric Flynn and the brother and best friend of the late Sr. Mary Flynn, SND.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Trinity Parish at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy on Friday morning at 10:00. Burial will follow in Manomet Cemetery, Plymouth.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy center on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Friends of Boston's Homeless c/o Long Island Shelter PO Box 158, Boston MA 02122.
